About

Creating art that transforms our perception of the mundane.

My Brooklyn garden.

Based in Brooklyn, I am an artist and educator whose practice investigates the intersection of urban life and the natural world. My interdisciplinary work explores the tension between formal refinement and embodied experience, drawing on global art traditions, especially those beyond the Western canon. Across media—mud, watercolor, spray paint—my process engages repetition, texture, and rhythm to evoke presence and place. Influenced by Japanese garden design, my landscapes and installations invite viewers to slow down and look closely. Gardening grounds my practice, offering a tactile and contemplative framework for exploring the reciprocity between human intention and the wonders of nature.

I invite you to explore my portfolio.
