About

Rhythm, touch, and wonder.

My Brooklyn garden.

Based in Brooklyn, I am an artist and educator whose practice investigates the intersection of urban life and the natural world. My interdisciplinary work explores the tension between formal refinement and embodied experience, drawing on global art traditions, especially those beyond the Western canon. Across media — mud, watercolor, spray paint, and more — my process engages repetition, texture, and rhythm to evoke presence and place. Influenced by Japanese garden design, my artwork invites viewers to slow down, look closely, and discover. Gardening grounds my practice, offering a tactile and contemplative framework for exploring the reciprocity between human intention and the wonders of nature.
